Dr. Torsten Bendl is a doctoral student and Researcher at the University of Regensburg's Institute of History, affiliated with the Junior Professorship for Public History and the Chair of History of Science. He focuses on the history of science popularization, astronomy, and material culture, particularly the use of glass plate slides in 19th-20th century astronomical communication.
