معرفی
Dr. Torben Stolte is a Scientific Assistant at the Institute of Automatic Control Engineering, part of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics at the Technical University of Braunschweig. His work is centered on advanced control systems for automated and electric vehicles.
His research interests are highly specialized in the safety and control of automated vehicles. Key areas include fault-tolerant vehicle dynamics control, the safety analysis of brake control systems, and the development of model-predictive control strategies for trajectory tracking in complex urban environments. His research often leverages the MOBILE test vehicle platform for practical implementation and validation.
Dr. Stolte has actively supervised numerous student research projects from 2014 to 2020. His advisees have worked on a wide array of topics, including sideslip angle estimation, reference trajectory generation, fault diagnosis, and the implementation of complex control algorithms for over-actuated vehicles. This demonstrates a strong commitment to mentoring the next generation of engineers in the field of automotive control.
