Toon van Hal is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas at the University of Oslo. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and has additional roles as a student in Faculty of Theology and Middle East Studies.
Research Areas: Toon's academic work spans Classics, focusing on Ancient Greek and Latin languages, Classical Literature, Classical Archaeology, and Intertextuality within ancient texts and traditions.
