Dr. Tony Walton is an interventional cardiologist and clinician specializing in structural heart procedures. He serves as Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University, affiliated with the Department of Cardiology and the Monash Alfred Baker Centre for Cardiovascular Research. He also holds the title of Honorary Research Fellow at The Baker Institute and leads the Structural Heart Programme at The Alfred and Cardiac Interventional Laboratories at Western Health.
His research focuses on structural heart disease and hypertension, particularly percutaneous valve replacement and interventional techniques for hypertension. He has completed advanced training in interventional cardiology at Stanford University Medical Centre.
