Professor Tony Myers holds dual roles as Interim Head of Sports and Professor in Quantitative Methods at Newman University’s Faculty of Arts, Society and Professional Studies. His research focuses on applied statistical modeling in sport, exercise, and public health, with notable work on Bayesian data analysis, Muay Thai judging biases, and physical activity interventions. He chairs the Journal of Sports Science Statistics and Research Design Advisory Group and founded BASES’ Sport Analytics SIG.
