Tony Fallon

Dr. Tony Fallon is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Research, University of Southern Queensland (USQ). Previously a Lecturer at Northern Territory University and USQ, and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Sydney, his expertise centers on research methods and quantitative data analysis across health and psychology domains.

Fallon's research spans short-term memory mechanisms, breastfeeding behavior determinants, positive psychology applications, evidence-based healthcare implementation, and health service evaluation. His work integrates cognitive psychology with public health, focusing on aged care, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services, and rural/remote health systems through both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

He has supervised postgraduate students while contributing to major projects including the Toowoomba Infant Feeding Support Project evaluation and National Survey of Nurse Attitudes to Information Technology. As a fully registered psychologist with the Queensland Psychologist's Registration Board, he currently serves as Course Examiner for PSY4040 - Psychological Interventions at USQ.
