Toni McCallum is a Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Charles Darwin University's College of Indigenous Futures, Education and Arts. She teaches in the Master of Teaching program and develops curriculum on sociology, social justice, and equity. Her research focuses on gendered dynamics of domestic violence, coercive control, and trauma in children.
Publications analyze healthcare/legal responses to domestic violence and pandemic-related mental health impacts. She collaborates with Griffith University on interdisciplinary projects addressing intersectional perspectives of violence.
