Toni Jensen is an Associate Professor of Social Work at Nebraska Wesleyan University (NWU), where she also serves as Department Chair and Program Director for the Master of Social Work. She has been a full-time faculty member since 2014 and previously served as Field Director from 2016 to 2018. Her academic leadership includes significant contributions to curriculum and program development in social work education.

Her professional service includes board membership with the Poverty Impact Network and consulting for non-profits and government agencies on strategic planning and program evaluation.

Dr. Jensen is a Certified Social Worker and brings extensive practice experience from roles in state judicial systems and tribal organizations. She mentors students through field practicum and research-informed practice, emphasizing student-led discovery and critical reflection.
