Prof. Toni Janevski is a Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia, and currently serves as Head of the Institute of Telecommunications (2023-2026). He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the same university (2001) and has extensive industry experience, including research at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center (2001) and roles in the Macedonian mobile sector (Mobimak/T-Mobile, 1996-1999). His academic career began in 1999 at his alma mater.

His research focuses on Internet Technologies, Mobile/Wireless Networks, QoS, Cybersecurity, and Next-Gen Networks. He authored influential books like "NGN Architectures, Protocols and Services" (Wiley, 2014) and "QoS for Fixed and Mobile Ultra-Broadband" (Wiley-IEEE, 2019). He has won Macedonia’s highest science award, the Goce Delchev Award (2012), and the university’s Best Scientist Award (2013).

- Established Macedonia’s ITU Centre of Excellence (2009)
His recent work explores 6G networks, AI in telecom, IoT, and cloud-edge integration. He leads projects on energy-efficient 6G, future broadband services, and regulatory frameworks for AI-driven networks.
Publications: Over 200 articles and 7 books, focusing on NGN, QoS, 5G/6G, and cloud telecom services. His 2024 work includes surveys on AI in telecom and comparative analyses of IoT/network technologies.
