Tondra L. Loder-Jackson

Tondra L. Loder-Jackson is a Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, affiliated with the departments of Educational Foundations, African American Studies, and History. Her research focuses on the historiography of African American education, urban teacher preparation, and school-family-community relations. She is actively involved in national civil rights education initiatives and serves in professional organizations such as the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the Association for the Study of African American Life & History (ASALH).
