Tomás McCone

Tomás McCone is an Assistant Professor of Spanish and Director of the Language Resource Center at the University of Delaware, affiliated with the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures within the College of Arts & Sciences. His work focuses on integrating technology into language pedagogy and second language acquisition, alongside traditional Spanish language instruction.

His technical expertise includes website development (conventional and data-driven), PHP programming, and MYSQL database creation, population, and access for the Foreign Languages and Literatures web page. He also possesses skills in digital video editing, including PAL to NTSC conversion and menu-driven DVD production from original digital footage.

McCone contributes to the Language Education program as a member of the Language Education Committee, focusing on curriculum development and assessment strategies.
