Dr. Tomislav Petković is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic Systems and Information Processing within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (University of Zagreb). His research focuses on Computer Vision, 3D Imaging, and Signal Processing, particularly in applications like Structured Light Profilometry, Human Pose Estimation, and Medical Imaging. He has contributed extensively to 3D reconstruction techniques, including underwater calibration, smartphone-based scanning, and anomaly detection in solar plant data.
His work spans Deep Learning, Regression Models, and Optical Flow for tasks such as Guidewire Reconstruction in X-ray imaging and Stabilized Battery Design for robotic systems.
