Professor Tomasz Tulejsky serves as a full professor and Head of the Department of Political and Legal Doctrines at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz. He has held this position since 2021 and is actively engaged in academic leadership and research activities.
Professor Tulejsky's research focuses on political and legal theory, with particular emphasis on classical political ideologies including conservatism, liberalism, and republicanism. His work examines the theoretical foundations of state power, legitimacy, legal order, and individual rights within political systems. His research interests also extend to the influence of political and legal ideas on state institutions, the theory and philosophy of war in international discourse, and American constitutional thought.
He is a member of the Political Thought Section of the Polish Academy of Sciences (since 2021) and serves on the editorial board of the journal Myśl Polityczna (Political Thought) (since 2019). Professor Tulejsky conducts regular teaching activities including examinations in political and legal doctrines, with resit exams scheduled as recently as September 2025.
