Tomasz Godlewski serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Administrative Law and Administrative Science at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz. He teaches various administrative law subjects including environmental law and conducts research in this field while maintaining an active judicial career.
Dr. Godlewski completed both his master's and doctoral studies at the University of Lodz. With over twenty years of professional experience, he has developed expertise in administrative law, administrative court proceedings, and constitutional law, blending academic scholarship with practical judicial application.
His research primarily focuses on environmental law with special emphasis on ecological safety. Dr. Godlewski actively contributes to scholarly discourse through his membership in the Center for Research on Environmental Safety Law (Centrum Badań Prawa Bezpieczeństwa Ekologicznego), where he examines the intersection of legal frameworks and environmental protection mechanisms.

Dr. Godlewski maintains a unique dual career path, having worked in administrative courts since 2003 - starting at the Supreme Administrative Court Branch in Lodz, then moving to the Provincial Administrative Court in Lodz, and serving at the Supreme Administrative Court since 2009. This judicial experience directly informs his academic work and teaching methodology.
