Professor Agnieszka Krawczyk serves as Head of the Department of Administrative Procedure and Judicial Control of Administration at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz, while also working as a judge at the Provincial Administrative Court in Lodz. With academic roots at the University of Lodz since 1999, she has developed a distinguished career spanning both academia and judicial practice.
Her educational background includes law studies at the University of Lodz (1999), postgraduate studies in tax law (2000-2001), doctoral studies culminating in her 2006 dissertation on constitutional right to court, and habilitation in 2013 with research on enforceability of administrative acts. She achieved the title of professor in 2025.
Professor Krawczyk specializes in administrative law with a strong comparative focus, particularly examining Austrian influences on Polish administrative law. Her research spans administrative enforcement, judicial control of administration, consensual forms in administration, and increasingly, the application of artificial intelligence in administrative proceedings. Her work bridges theoretical scholarship with practical legal application.
Her scholarly output includes over one hundred publications, with three major monographs published in 2006, 2013, and 2024. Her recent work shows a clear trend toward comparative analysis of administrative justice systems, particularly between Poland and Austria, while also addressing emerging challenges like AI in administrative law and reforms in young democracies.

Her department serves as a hub for research on administrative procedure and judicial control, with strong connections to both Polish administrative courts and international comparative law research networks.
