Tomas Lozano-Perez is the School of Engineering Professor in Teaching Excellence at MIT, affiliated with CSAIL. He holds SB, SM, and PhD degrees in Computer Science from MIT. His research focuses on robotics, computer vision, machine learning, medical imaging, and computational chemistry. He is a Fellow of AAAI, ACM, and IEEE, and recipient of major awards including the IEEE Robotics Pioneer Award (2011) and the 2021 IEEE Robotics and Automation Award.
