Tomas Budi Ors is a Research Fellow at the European University Institute, affiliated with the Department of Economics and the Max Weber Programme for Postdoctoral Studies. He holds a PhD candidacy from CEMFI (Madrid), an MA in Economics and Finance from CEMFI, and a BSc in Economics from Universitat Jaume I.
His research focuses on macroeconomic development, spatial economics, and firm dynamics, particularly examining frictions in structural transformation and regional inequality using empirical micro-data analysis and quantitative models.
