Tom Valente is an Associate Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, where he has taught since 1993. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and previously served as a visiting professor at Colby College.
