Dr. Tom Siday is an Assistant Professor at the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Birmingham. His research focuses on developing microscopy techniques combining ultra-short light pulses (time resolution down to one ten-trillionth of a second) with optical near-field microscopy to study material dynamics at atomic spatial resolution.
