Dr. Tom Pye is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in History at University College London (UCL). His research focuses on the intersection of intellectual, economic, and legal history in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Britain and its empire. He is preparing a book manuscript on 'Capitalist Feudalism' and a second project analyzing land registration data to explore colonial wealth and economic growth in Britain.
