Tom Pfefferkorn is an Assistant Professor of Business Management at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, and Director of the EBS Global Incubator. He holds a PhD in Business Management (2022), MSc in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (2015), and BBA (2014). His research focuses on organizational controls, human behavior, and business performance dynamics. Pfefferkorn is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA), CMI member, and serial entrepreneur. He leads the EBS Consultancy Bootcamp, a professional development initiative for students working with real business clients. Awards include the Marylin Stone Memorial Award (2015) and commendation from the British Academy of Management (2020). His consulting work emphasizes technology readiness assessments and scaling startups.
