Edward Sweeney is a Professor of Logistics & Supply Chain Management at Edinburgh Business School and Deputy Executive Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University. He holds roles including former Head of Operations Management & Logistics at Edinburgh Business School and previously led departments at Aston University and the National Institute for Transport and Logistics (NITL) in Ireland. His expertise spans supply chain design, theory-practice gaps, and sustainable logistics.
