Tom Herbst

Tom Herbst is a Research Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg, Germany. His research focuses on star formation, high angular resolution astronomy, and instrumentation. He is involved in several large projects including the SDSS-V Local Volume Mapper, the Large Binocular Telescope, and the European Extremely Large Telescope.
