Tom Duscher is a Professor of Interactive Media at the Muthesius Academy of Art and Design in Kiel, Germany, affiliated with the Center for Media. He has held this position since 2003, leading research in information design and scientific visualization. Duscher founded the Science Communication Lab in 2015, focusing on innovative visual communication for scientific topics, and serves as a Principal Investigator at the Kiel Science Communication Network (KSCN) since 2021.
His research explores:
