Todd W. Miller, PhD is an Adjunct Professor of Molecular and Systems Biology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. He holds leadership roles in the Dartmouth Cancer Center as Co-Director of the Cancer Signaling, Genomes & Networks Program, Scientific Director of the Comprehensive Breast Program, and Co-Director of the Molecular Tumor Board. His research focuses on breast cancer mechanisms, particularly drug resistance, targeted therapies, and biomarker development.
Education:
- B.S. in Physiology & Neurobiology (University of Connecticut, 1998)
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (University at Albany, 2004)
- Postdoctoral Fellowship in Breast Cancer (Vanderbilt University, 2004–2009)
Research Interests:
- Metabolic vulnerabilities in ER+ breast cancer persister cells
- Epigenetic drivers of triple-negative breast cancer
- Chromatin remodeling as a therapeutic strategy
- Endocrine therapy mechanisms and resistance
His recent work emphasizes combining therapies (e.g., radiation/endocrine) and leveraging metabolic dependencies for treatment optimization.
