Tobi Eniolu Morakinyo

Dr. Tobi Eniolu Morakinyo is an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University. He holds a Ph.D. in Urban Climate from the City University of Hong Kong (2013–2016), an M.Tech in Urban Climatology from Federal University of Technology, Akure (Nigeria), and a B.Tech in Meteorology. His research focuses on urban climatology, climate change impacts on health, and nature-based solutions for urban heat adaptation in sub-Saharan Africa. He uses mixed methods like numerical modeling (ENVI-met, WRF), remote sensing, and qualitative surveys.

Key research areas include heat-health relationships, green infrastructure effectiveness, and thermal inequalities.
