Titus Wong serves as a medical microbiologist at BCCDC Public Health Lab and holds the position of clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
His leadership roles include executive medical director in Medical and Academic Affairs at PHSA, medical director for Infection Prevention and Control and Community Health, and Provincial Medical Director for the Provincial Infection Control Network (PICNet). He founded the BC/VCH Personal Protective Equipment Testing Laboratory.

Dr. Wong's research focuses on environmental infection prevention and control, prevention of healthcare-associated infections, PPE and aerosol science. His work has particular relevance to public health responses during pandemics and healthcare safety protocols.
He is recognized as a strong advocate for promoting diversity, cultural humility and safety, and eliminating all forms of racism, including Indigenous-specific racism. Dr. Wong created OSWELL (the Office for Safety and Wellbeing for Medical Staff) to improve the work experience for medical staff, with emphasis on both physical and psychological safety.
