Titti Mattsson is a Professor of Public Law and Pro Dean of Research at Lund University's Faculty of Law. She holds roles as Associate Professor, Research Coordinator for Health Law and Law and Vulnerabilities, and Researcher in Human Rights Law and Public Law. Her research focuses on governance of welfare state issues, health law, child law, elder law, and human rights, emphasizing vulnerability and transnational perspectives. She leads interdisciplinary projects like the Health Law Research Centre and the Law and Vulnerabilities Group, collaborating with institutions globally. She serves on boards for the Swedish Medical Ethics Council, Region Skåne Ethical Board, and the European Journal of Health Law. Her expertise spans AI integration in healthcare (AIR Lund), child welfare investigations, and dementia care ethics.
Education includes Docent titles in Social Law and Social Work. She supervises six doctoral projects and teaches advanced courses in health law. Her outreach includes advising Swedish and international authorities on child health, migration, and ethics. Key collaborations involve the European Law and Ageing Research Network (ELAN) and the Norma Research Programme.
