Tisha King-Heiden is a Professor of Biology at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, specializing in reproductive and developmental toxicology. Her research focuses on understanding the impacts of environmental contaminants on aquatic organisms, particularly fish. She holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2005), an MS from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro (1998), and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (1996).
Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Comparative Vertebrate Endocrinology, Environmental Toxicology, and Human Anatomy & Physiology. She is currently on research sabbatical for Spring 2025.
