Tina Young Poussaint

Tina Young Poussaint is Radiologist-in-Chief and the Lionel W. Young Chair in Radiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as a Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. She completed her medical degree at Yale University School of Medicine and residency/fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Research Focus

Dr. Poussaint’s work centers on pediatric neuroimaging, particularly in brain tumors and neuroinflammatory conditions. Her research integrates advanced MRI techniques (diffusion, perfusion, spectroscopy) and artificial intelligence for tumor segmentation, recurrence prediction, and molecular subtyping. She leads the Neuroimaging Center of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium (PBTC) and contributes to Response Assessment in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology (RAPNO) guidelines.
