Tina Prodromou is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business at the University of Wollongong, specializing in Finance. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Sydney, alongside a Master’s in Investment Management, Honours in Commerce, and a Bachelor in Information Technology. Her research focuses on Market Microstructure, Energy Finance, Asset Pricing, and the application of blockchain and machine learning in finance.
Prodromou has published extensively on topics including algorithmic trading, cryptocurrency markets, and climate risk in financial assets. Her recent work explores the impact of AI on market dynamics and the transition to Proof of Stake consensus mechanisms in blockchain. She is affiliated with the Digital Finance CRC as an Affiliated Researcher and serves as an Associate Editor for Economic Analysis and Policy.
