Timothy X Brown is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering. His research focuses on wireless systems, networking, network security, machine learning, cognitive radios, and unmanned aircraft systems. His work spans applications ranging from rural education chatbots to drone-based search and rescue systems, with a strong emphasis on developing-world contexts.
