Timothy Sandoval

Timothy Sandoval, Ph.D., is a Professor of Religion at Texas Christian University's AddRan College of Liberal Arts. His expertise spans Ancient Israelite Religion, Hebrew Bible studies, and Latinx Biblical Hermeneutics. He holds a PhD from Emory University (2004), MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary (1993), and AB from UC Davis (1990). His research focuses on biblical ethics, wisdom literature, and intersectional hermeneutics.

Dr. Sandoval has published extensively, including monographs like The Moral Vision of Proverbs (2024) and edited volumes on Torah interpretations and Second Temple Judaism.
