Timothy Powell is an Adjunct Professor of Commercial Music at Trevecca Nazarene University. A composer, conductor, and clinician, he holds a DMA in Conducting from the University of South Carolina and degrees from Belmont University.
His work spans choral education, worship arts, and interdisciplinary music performance. Professional affiliations include ASCAP, Pi Kappa Lambda, ACDA, and the Recording Academy (GRAMMY voting member).
Awards recognize his artistic leadership, including the American Prize in Choral Performance (2012) and Grammy Music Educator Award semifinalist recognition (2016).
