Joan Pi, DMA, serves as Interim Chair and Assistant Professor of Music & Worship Arts at Regent University, alongside directing choral activities. She previously directed music ministries at Three Chopt Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia, and taught at John Tyler Community College. Her expertise spans choral conducting, sacred music, and music education, with notable achievements including directing major works like Handel’s Messiah and Puccini’s operas Gianni Schicchi and Suor Angelica.

Her research focuses on integrating worship arts, choral performance excellence, and pedagogical innovation.
