Professor Timothy Pollock is the Haslam Chair in Business and Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville's Haslam College of Business. His research focuses on corporate governance, executive compensation, and entrepreneurial strategies in ambiguous contexts, particularly IPO markets. Notable contributions include work on CEO celebrity effects, corporate misconduct scandalization, and reputation dynamics. He has authored multiple books, including How to Use Storytelling in Academic Writing (2025), and serves on editorial boards for top journals like the Academy of Management Journal.
