Timothy L. Keiningham is a Professor of Marketing at the Peter J. Tobin College of Business, St. John's University, where he holds the J. Donald Kennedy Endowed Chair in E-Commerce. He earned a Ph.D. in Marketing from Staffordshire University (UK), an MBA from Vanderbilt University, and a BA in Telecommunications from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
His research focuses on Customer Experience Management (CXM), Loyalty, and Service Marketing, with over 50 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier journals such as Journal of Marketing, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Sloan Management Review. He co-authored the New York Times bestseller The Wallet Allocation Rule and eight other books on customer loyalty strategies.
Dr. Keiningham has received prestigious awards including the American Marketing Association’s Christopher Lovelock Career Contributions Award (highest honor in service marketing) and multiple journal best-paper awards. His industry roles include former Global Chief Strategy Officer at Ipsos Loyalty and Chief Strategy Officer at Rockbridge Associates.
Teaching includes courses like Data-Driven Marketing and Customer Experience Management. His work bridges academic research and business practice, emphasizing actionable insights for firms to enhance CX and profitability.
