Timothy Kwiatek is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Philosophy at The Pennsylvania State University. He holds a Ph.D. from The Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University, where his dissertation focused on moral psychology and Buddhist philosophy. His research explores praise, blame, and social ethics, alongside historical Buddhist thought, particularly Śāntideva and Dōgen. He teaches courses in ethics, moral emotions, and bioethics.
