Timothy J. Craig, DO is Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine, where he directs the Alpha-1 Deficiency Center, Allergy/Asthma/Immunology Fellowship, and Respiratory Allergy Clinical Research Center. As GHSP Site Leader in Vietnam, he established global health training at Lam Dong Medical College.
His research spans hereditary angioedema, asthma, alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency, and immunodeficiency disorders, with 300+ publications and leadership in NHLBI consortia (ACRN/AsthmaNet). Collaborations extend to Vietnam, Cornell University, and Penn State institutes focusing on respiratory disease mechanisms and health disparities.
Recent publications analyze treatment comparatives for hereditary angioedema, racial disparities in care, and guideline evolution over 25 years, reflecting his expertise in clinical immunology and therapeutic innovation.
