Timothy Ivison serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences at ArtCenter College of Design, where he teaches interdisciplinary seminars on biopolitics, crowd theory, and urban history. He also holds teaching positions at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
His educational background includes:
- BA in Visual and Critical Studies and BFA in Studio Practice from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago
- PhD from the London Consortium, Birkbeck College, University of London (2017)
Dr. Ivison's research integrates political philosophy, historical analysis, and social theory to examine collective behavior dynamics and urban spatial politics. His interdisciplinary approach bridges humanities and design disciplines through critical examinations of mass movements and city evolution.
