Dr Timothy Glover is a Research Fellow at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, affiliated with the Faculty of English and the Department of Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic. He specializes in late-medieval cultural history and literature, focusing on textual and material forms of religious writings.

His research explores why late-medieval texts appear disorganized to modern readers, using Richard Rolle's works to challenge existing paradigms of compilation and authorship. He argues that Rolle's prose reflects normative non-academic compilatory practices, reshaping understanding of medieval authorship.
Current projects include a critical edition of Rolle's Emendatio vitae and a study on Latin's role in popularizing contemplative spirituality in England (1300–1550). His publications address Rolle's textual fluidity, manuscript presentation, and the intersection of compilation and authorship.
Scientific awards include the Mellon Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship. He works with the Parker Library on early-career research, focusing on material miscellaneity in medieval books.
