Timothy B. Conley is an Associate Clinical Professor at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University. Previously, he served as a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Montana until 2014. He resides in Missoula, Montana, teaching online while maintaining a mailing address at Yeshiva University in New York.
Dr. Conley holds a Ph.D. in Social Work from Boston College (2001), an MSW from Syracuse University (1987), and a B.A. from Williams College (1985). His expertise spans addiction treatment, mental health, and program evaluation. He pioneered the online Joint MSW/CASAC Program at Wurzweiler, collaborating with New York State’s Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) for its approval.
His research focuses on evidence-based practice models, treatment court evaluations (DUI, Drug, Mental Health, Family), and rapid assessment instruments. He has extensive clinical experience, including over 20 years working directly with addicted and mentally ill clients. Dr. Conley actively contributes to professional organizations such as the American Academy of Health Care Providers in Addictive Disorders and the Journal of Social Work Practice in the Addictions editorial board.
