Timo Hugg is an Adjunct Professor at the Research Unit of Population Health, University of Oulu's Faculty of Medicine. His research focuses on pollen grains, environmental health, and the effects of environmental exposures on asthma and allergic diseases. He coordinates multidisciplinary projects like InChildHealth (EU-funded) and previously led projects such as APTA and CLAIH (Academy of Finland). He represents the Faculty of Medicine on the University's Sustainable Development Advisory Board and Climate Leadership Coalition.
