Timo HJ Niedermeyer

Prof. Dr. Timo HJ Niedermeyer serves as a Professor and Working Group Leader at the Institute of Pharmacy, Free University of Berlin, within the Department of Pharmacy under the broader Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy structure.

His research focuses on Pharmaceutical Biology with emphasis on:

• Natural Products Chemistry from microbial sources
• Antibiotic discovery and development
• Microbial secondary metabolite biosynthesis
• Drug discovery pipelines for novel therapeutics

Prof. Niedermeyer maintains active consultation hours by appointment via email, with office access available when his door is open at Königin-Luise-Str. 2+4, Rooms 481/482 in Berlin.
