His work emphasizes understanding soilborne pathogens like *Rhizoctonia*, *Fusarium*, and *Pratylenchus*, alongside the impacts of glyphosate, tillage, and crop rotation on microbial communities.
Research Interests:
- Ecology and management of root diseases in wheat, barley, and Brassica
- Soil and rhizosphere microbiome analysis
- Effects of agricultural practices (e.g., glyphosate, lime, no-till) on microbial communities
- Biological control of soilborne pathogens
Awards and Recognition:
- Fellow, American Phytopathological Society (2009–present)
- USDA-ARS National EEO/CR Outreach Award (2008)
