Tim O'Hare is an Associate Professor in Ocean Science and Deputy Head of School at the University of Plymouth's School of Biological and Marine Sciences (part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering). His research focuses on coastal processes, sediment transport, and tidal environments, with notable supervision of PhD candidates in these areas. He has held multiple senior academic roles, including Associate Head (Teaching and Learning) for the School of Marine Science and Engineering (2015–2016) and leadership in program development for Marine Science degree schemes.
