Tim MacDonnell

Tim MacDonnell is a Professor at the Washington and Lee School of Law. His scholarship focuses on intersections of health law, medical ethics, and constitutional law. In 2022, he published a critical analysis of informed consent agreements in the Villanova Law Review, examining how substituted caregiver terms harm doctor-patient trust. His 2025 article in the South Dakota Law Review analyzes U.S. Supreme Court jurisprudence during emergencies like natural disasters and epidemics.
