Tim Kraft is an Assistant Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Poole College of Management, NC State University. His research focuses on environmental and social responsibility issues in supply chain and operations management, including regulatory policy design, transparency mechanisms, and ethical decision-making. He has taught at the University of Virginia and MIT Sloan School of Management, and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and RadioShack Corporation.

Recent work explores electric vehicle market dynamics, pandemic-driven supply chain resilience, and the ethical implications of supply chain visibility.
Awards include the 2021 M&SOM Meritorious Service Award. His advisory and consulting work involves NGOs and firms to improve chemical management practices and supplier environmental performance. He has collaborated on projects like the Stanford Blood Center’s platelets supply chain optimization.
