Tim Hubin

Dr. Timothy J. Hubin is a Bernhardt Professor of Chemistry at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), serving as Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Physics. He is a principal investigator in the $20 million OK NSF EPSCoR Track-1 RII Award project focused on water, carbon, and infrastructure resilience in Oklahoma.

Dr. Hubin’s research centers on the synthesis and characterization of polymer-affixed transition metal catalysts for water purification under harsh aqueous conditions. This builds on decades of expertise with monomeric oxidation catalysts.
