Tim Davis is a Lecturer in Mathematics at Northeastern University London, appointed in August 2024. Previously, he served as Mathematics Tutor at the same institution during the 2023-24 academic year. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Queen Mary, University of London (2023) and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Reading (2019).
His research focuses on number theory, particularly the arithmetic and algebraic properties of Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms, approached from both classical and adelic perspectives. He also explores mathematical education in higher education, emphasizing how non-mathematics students engage with calculus.
Teaching responsibilities include Calculus 1 for Science and Engineering and Calculus for Business in Fall 2024. He has supported all mathematics courses at Northeastern and served as a Teaching Assistant at Queen Mary for courses like Number Theory and Introduction to Algebra.
His publications include work on AI-driven calculus education and contributions to automorphic forms research. No scientific awards are explicitly listed.
Tim advised the Apple TV+ show Prime Target as a Mathematics Advisor. He is affiliated with Northeastern University London’s global network, part of a 13-campus system across three countries.
